Join us Friday, April 13 at our 5th annual fundraiser for library literacy programs.
It’s a celebration of great food and great books.
Last year was a sold out event. Make sure to buy your tickets early!
Enjoy food samples, live music and other surprises at our after-hours library party. We transform the first floor of Central Library into an urban lounge where you can mix and mingle, drink a glass of wine and chat with local chefs about their culinary creations. Come view, taste and vote for your favourite.
Books2Eat celebrates International Edible Book Day. We invite local chefs to use their culinary talents to make dishes inspired by the written word – a book, an author, a poem, an epic – wherever their imagination takes them! The results look and taste delicious and our guests get to sample them.
All proceeds from Books2Eat will be directed to literacy programs through LPL’s 2012 IMAGINE Fundraising Campaign. This includes new books, magazines, CDs and DVDs for London families and literacy programs for children and teens, adults, seniors and new Canadians.
